Amazing! thank you so much emily! , i have really problems because my android was corrupted and doesnt boot. Now, after a few days of hard work i have the two systems (both android and windows) working OK.
rck, you can flash android with the Intel platform flash tool : https://software.intel.com/en-us ... ith-flash-tool-litel (i dedicated a lot of time to search the solution)

Note that you WILL LOST windows partitions when you flash android, so you need reflash windows image again. (i lost a lot of personal files at windows side when i tried to reflash android)

Greetings! (when i have some time i can help to do a tutorial, but in spanish because my english is very basic)

Jesus! Guys, I did it, I reinstalled Windows. I'm so happy right now. 3:30 am... Oh...
I've just followed instructions like I'd done in first time. But then last loaded OS was Android. And in second try last loaded OS accidentally was Windows which didn't start. I think, it influenced on the boot.
Thank you all guys your posts really helped me. Especially thanks to moderators for creating this tutorial.

P.S. Please forgive me for my bad English

It is possible to re-install android without losing windows. As donmorsa greatly pointed out, you need Intel's Flash Tool Lite. I used 64bit win 10.
1) Power on the HiBook while holding volume up and volume down. You should get the Chuwi logo and the words "DNX FASTBOOT MODE.."
2) Windows on my machine didn't use the right driver. I had to manually change the "Intel Android AD" device driver to "Android Composite ADB Interface"
3) Once the driver was changed, the intel flash tool recognized the HiBook
4) Browse to where you extracted the HiBook Android.rar file. 7zip works great for extraction
5) Choose "update" in the configuration drop box.
6) Start the flash. For me, it got do 25% and stopped. The HiBook rebooted to the normal android recovery
7) Windows again got the driver wrong. The HiBook shows up as a different device, so I had to again manually select the "Android Composite ADB Interface"
8) I power cycled the HiBook, entering DNX boot and restarted the flash. This time it worked.

My HiBook now boots both windows and android.

Some other tidbits:
1) Press ESC or DEL to enter the BIOS at the CHUWI splash screen
2) Press F7 to get a boot device selection menu
3) The left and right arrows, followed by enter can select windows or android instead of the volume rocker

Thanks you !

Is the BIOS an update ? If yes how to apply it ?
How to use the "Windows download" ? (I haven't downloaded it for the moment, too big)
Edit: I used http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-15-1-1.html and it worked perfectly (remember to copy the whole "images" dir to the second USB Flash)

Can you provides a driver pack alongside the full image too ?

Hi, dashie

It is original Bios.
In general, there is no need to update Bios.

I will add HiBook driver and tutorial in a few days.

Please add instructions on how to use the android image. My HiBook won't boot android after trying to perform an update under android settings. I've updated the BIOS and window 10 boots fine, just android has an issue.
