An easy way to improve hi12 colour accuracy

The display on my hi12 looks great, but out of the box it was a tad greenish for my taste. Things got much better by setting the green channel at 75% on the Windows advanced display settings, colour calibration.

It's two minutes, the correction is very noticeable (it's done before every Windows startup), and the result looks great.

Your best settings may vary. I didn't need to change screen gamma, brightness or contrast. What I had to do was setting the green bar to 75% to make the ramp bars look as grey as they possibly could.

If you want to give it a try, It'd be really useful when more people share information. If many hi12 displays benefit from a similar colour calibration, we could all get a near-perfect result whenever someone shares a single, professionally made colour profile.

it needs an icc profile.  if you have enough devices it might be worth getting an i1 display pro from amazon.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/upl ... SUNG_20QL01_001.icm that is the calibration file for the panel used for the Hi12 which as we all know is the same as the surface 3.  Google for instructions on how to assign a ICM profile to windows.  This is the display colour calibration file.  It will improve your screen to correctly calibrated values
