Dont work, tablet in bootloop

Thanks for share Epera,
Did you try with these:

    mount -o rw,remount /system
    mv /system/bin/app_process /system/bin/app_process.xposed-bak
    mv /system/bin/app_process.orig /system/bin/app_process
    echo 0x98 > /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset
    chmod 664 /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset
    exit
    exit
    adb kill-server
- Débrancher le câble USB, installer le framework à nouveau depuis Xposed et redémarrer.

I confirm this works without any problem. Also fixed my Bluetooth connectivity issue. I can now send files via Bluetooth but still Xender and ShareIt apps do not work.

Here's a link to a boot.img for devices running the August 2016 android firmware.  I was able to root my Hi8 Pro (Hi80PQ32G221608XXXXX) using klop8093's method and this img.

Oh god, thanks chuwbaka! I just did the same, blindly followed a guide and derped my Wifi on my brand new chuwi hi8 pro. Thanks a lot! <333 I was getting desperate.

Edit 2: I flashed the wrong boot.img again /o\ it worked with the latest one from August.

The latest firmware is from September. Chuwi didn't upload it yet which is a shame but you can just use chuwbaka's backup and skip everything else since he provided a working version.

Hi,

I m new user of chuwi HI8 pro (august android, build G22160806)

I've installed TWRP and rooted my device .
For august builds and newers, here is a way to proceed by dumping the original boot img before flashing .

First : Download the latest version given in first post. Don't use it for the moment. Install the needed drivers.
Extract the archive, and go to the directory created.

First you need to disable the read only file system :

  1. adb root
  2. adb disable-verity
  3. adb reboot
Copy the Code

Note, on Windows, i had drivers issue (disable verity is missing on my adb), worked on Linux (Fedora).

Now we can dump and extract the boot.img from our device :

  1. adb root
  2. adb remount
  3. adb shell mkdir /data/local/dump
  4. adb shell dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 of=/data/local/dump/recovery.img
  5. adb shell dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 of=/data/local/dump/dumpboot.img
Copy the Code

Note : We don't need really the recovery dump, it s only a backup ;)

Now we can save the dumps on our PC directory
  1. adb pull /data/local/dump/dumpboot.img
  2. adb pull /data/local/dump/dumprecovery.img
Copy the Code

Flash now the boot.img and install TWRP by using files in the extracted archive

You can run Flash_3.0.1.0.bat

or
  1. adb reboot fastboot
  2. fastboot flash boot boot.img
  3. fastboot flash recovery twrp_3.0.1.0.img
  4. fastboot reboot
Copy the Code

Now you ve got TWRP . When android is loaded, put your supersu.zip on the internal memory, and type

  1. adb reboot recovery
Copy the Code

After reboot, TWRP will be loaded. Install tour zip and reboot.

If you reboot, and if you have a recent build, android will work, without wifi (and maybe other stuffs) :-(

Now you can reflash your backuped boot img, created before to repair your android :
  1. adb reboot fastboot
  2. fastboot flash boot dumpboot.img
Copy the Code

choose reboot and voila

Note you'll keep TWRP.

In the hope that it might help someone.

Good evening (or day)
