Do you have to execute this application every time you start windows?
Or do you have to run it one ...

You have to run it everytime., it is not a permanent fix.

I noticed while just clicking to run the executable; gestures are still enabled when you are in admin mode (in task manager or cmd.exe etc.) you have to run as administrator to combat this. I just killed two birds with one stone by creating a shortcut for the script, and right clicking for properties, then advanced, and checking the box to always run as admin. Then I put the shortcut in the startup folder mentioned in my previous post. Its perfect now don't have to worry about that annoying problem anymore. thanks to all that helped me!

to digital MD
I did exactly that, installed it from the folder WinWDF\x64
But I did not use the file ...

If you only installed the dpinst file, "I'm going to bet you changed nothing , you have just gotten used to the touchpad.
Go to device manager and check the Mouse category. If it lists your device as "HID compatible mouse" that's the original driver. If you were able to change to the Synaptic driver it would say "Synaptic touch pad" and SETTINGs / mouse would allow you to modify the gestures or disable them.

Well sorry son, that is it exactly , your trackpad is identified as a generic HID compatible mouse and will be less than useless until you disable the gestures by running the script in this thread.

Thanks a lot for your script to disable the swipe down from edge gesture that restore/re-size the current window. I put the shortcut in the Startup folder of Win10 and it works fine for me! I really hope that Chuwi will soon provide a proprietary driver for the touchpad.
