I had shrunk the 42GiB Windows partition to set aside 20GiB.
When I used gparted in Linux, booted from USB, it confirmed that I was formating the new 20GiB partition #16 as ext4 but then a pop-up said I'd changed Partition #8 (one of many Android partitions).
I have no idea why that would happen as gparted is very reliable.
Anyhow, I'm not sure how to fix Android other than using this tool with "flash-no-erase-all.json" so as to not harm the Win10 install.
BTW1: Any chance you could mirror the Chuwi Hi12 Windows 10 OS (for Dualboot) 6GB+ file?
I've tried several times to download it & it always drops near the end. Our son just tried it with the same result.
Any thoughts, please?
BTW2: I have backed-up with the Macrium Free app., but it was after the Android glitch.
