My brand new Hi10 has arrived, Q64G42160800140.
I am trying to flash the new BIOS, but it fails with "Requested rom hole not available in rom file".
May I request some assistance, please? Am I trying with the wrong file (E4D6_C106_E.224)?

I just got a new HI10 serial number HI10 G64G42151100699
After using it three times, the android side stopped working.  You could not boot into it anymore.  At that point I flashed it using the Hi10 Dualboot - Android.rar file using Intel Phone Flash tool 5.3.4.1 with flash-no-erase-all.json and recover, while the tablet was in DNX mode.  It looked like it properly flashed because Android booted up and is in its first time use state.  The problem is wifi and bluetooth does not turn on.  In windows the wifi works.  Also I thought there was an application to boot to windows on the android side, but I do not see it anymore.

Here is the screen capture of my device manager from a HI10.  It's pretty much stock, I only booted into windows 3 times and have not installed anything.

Thanks! That got me closer to the solution but the touchscreen still isn't working. Now I got the same entries under "Human Interface Devices" except the "Chipone Touch Screen" is missing. Problem is that there is no device left to design the driver to and adding it via legacy devices does not work. So it seems to me like Windows just doesn't recognize the device.

Does anyone have an idea? The device is pretty useless without touchscreen

I found this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/chinaph ... ouch_screen_driver/
but actually with the recent 64Bit drivers the file mentioned in the post is already there. I also tried uninstalling the driver and installing the new one to windows (not linked to a device since I don't have one to link it to).

Hello again, tried to do a clean install and restore the drivers with the file from
http://techtablets.com/forum/top ... -driver/#post-49403
Touch screen is still not working. I suppose this is due to different versions of the tablet.

Could someone with a recent version of the Hi10 and a working touchscreen create a driver backup with Double Driver?

I'm running out of ideas what I could do...

@emily

Hi the link for DL the file "flash-no-erase-all.json"
doesn't work. I do get a message, I quote "Attachment is not exists or unable to read, please contact administrator." end quote.
Can you fix this problem or provide me a working link.

I have also a question about upgrading the android release. This tablet has Android 5.1 is it possible to upgrade to newer release of this OS? Like Marshmallow 6.0.1 and/or Nougat 7.0
