The onda v820w has same hardware and it is compatible with remix os.

While I am going to consider a different manufacturer next time, the Onda V820w does not have the same hardware.

The V820w does not have a cherry trail processor but instead uses a baytrail Z3735F which was released in April of 2014 - so is considerably older. Performance wise it's slightly slower than the Z8300 (http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-At ... s-Intel-Atom-Z3735F)

Also the V820w does not have a WUXGA screen (1920x1200) but only a WXGA display (1280x800)

I think you might mistake it for the Onda V80 Plus which is the same hardware (Z8300 + WUXGA) as the Chuwi Hi8 Pro.

Both, last android-x86 or RemixOs, would be great for HI8 Pro.
But we need Chuwi to build the roms because of the drivers...
Another solution could be running RemixOs Player inside windows. We would need a single boot storage reasons.
Have any of you tried?
