A member of my household has accidentally dropped my three weeks old HI12 on the floor yesterday so now I have a thin hairline crack about half inch long in the lower right corner of the LCD digitizer and the aluminum back casing is a little deformed in the same spot, so that the display protrudes a bit from the casing. Otherwise the tablet is working ok. I'm in Europe so sending the device back for repairing is out of the question, but I was wondering if anybody was (ever) able to get any spare part directly from Chuwi. I'd need a new LCD digitizer/outer glass layer and the aluminum back casing to restore the tablet to mint condition. I was able to find a couple of vendors selling the digitizer online but: 1. it's absurdly expensive and 2: there's no mention if the thing is genuine or it's a poorly performing knock-off. As of the back casing, nobody seems to be selling it. Any advice?
