So does Linux run smoothly without prbolems on 15.6 lapbook too ? I heard it has some wi-fi trackpad and bluetooth problems with drivers.. I might just get the 14.1 since the cpu seems about 30% better than the 15.6 one

Have anyone had a problem with loading eMMC during linux boot?
I have tried Ubuntu 17.04 and 16.04.2

I am able to smoothly boot into live cd if I'll add modprobe.blacklist=mmc_block, but that of course makes internal MMC drivers not loaded.

As soon as I'll do "modprobe mmc_block" on live cd it starts to become slow, obviously because it tries to read the MMC.
That’s dmesg copy about this error:
https://pastebin.com/qv4jG1HX

I’m unable to lookup /dev/mmcblk1* because of Input/Output Error.

Lapbook works nice under Windows 10 so eMMC itself works.
I wonder if internal disk is somehow encrypted/protected by Windows? Any other clues?

Nevermind, BIOS update to 017 solved above problem. Thanks Hackerjac.
