Thank you, Emily, but unfortunately, the problem is still exists. Even with new BIOS files:

Problem most likely caursed by the bios file provided is older than the one on your  LapBook, its not possible to downgrade the bios without using a hardware flasher
I do NOT work for Chuwi. Please DO NOT pm or email me with problems you may have!

Have any reason to wait some stable solution of this problem?
Or Linux are official non compatible with new chuwi 14.1 laptops?

There was the second month of waiting...))

Hi! I've a Chuwi Lapbook Air, and I was trying install Linux (Ubuntu in my case). I've followed this guide but I can't achieve. First of all my UEFI version is 2.18.1263, and it hasn't got the Operating Systems Option in boot menu. No problem, I've boot pressing F7 and I can read my bootable USB but Linux doesn't boot. Only a dash with a black screen. I've been reading about this, and after some attemps I've boot an Ubuntu with rEFInd loader. Ubuntu runs ok, but not the touchpad

So my question is: how can I get a stable system as yours with my Lapbook air?

Thanks!
