I have a problem with one of Lapbook 14. When I turn it on i see the enclosed image on the screen.

I have to turn off, turn on - I see it again... then after 3rd or 4th turning on Windows starts properly.
Please advice what to do.

You need to re-flash bios for Chuwi Lapbook 14.1.

Great! What should be the procedure to flash de BIOS/UEFI? It is a very delicate process and I don't want to brick the device. Thank you!!!!

Could you please confirm that it would be enough to put the uncompressed content of the "LapBook 14.1 BIOS 20161230" folder (inside the zip) on the root of a usb key formatted in FAT32 and just let it run automatically (Startup.nsh) on system startup?
Thanks!!!

Just in case anyone have the same doubts that I did...
To flash the LapBook BIOS/UEFI you have to put the contents of the uncompressed "LapBook 14.1 BIOS 20161230" folder in a FAT32 formatted usb key and restart the laptop. You can skip flashing during boot pressing some key, but if you don't, “startup.nsh” will flash automatically. It took about less than 5 minutes. With this update now I have the "OS Select" option in my UEFI and finally could test that Linux runs ok. So far I have tried Xubuntu and Linux Mint, both working ok right out of the box.
I think the option “OS Select” must be some kind of Secure Boot toggle, because in “Windows” mode I cannot run Linux, but in “Linux” mode I can run both.
Have fun!

To everyone who has trouble installing the Realtek audio driver, I have posted how to fix it in another thread: http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-3565-1-1.html

To make the touchpad pointer smoother, you can try to enable mouse acceleration in Windows settings. It's not perfect, but I found that it helps with pointer precision.
