Suddenly they have started to fail the sd card in windows, not being recognized by the system and, going to the device manager, it shows a code 10 error with text: This device can not be started.
The error appears in Chuwi tablets without distinguishing model since it is appearing in Hi12, Hi10Pro, Hi10 Plus, hi8 ... although it seems that there may be relation with the new processor Z8350 included in these models. It is also danto in the tablets with the Z8300
I open this file so that those with this problem can indicate their model of tablet, type of processor, capacity of the sd card entered and if they have detected the moment from when it started to fail.

Hi!

I'm one of them. My tablet is a Chuwi Hi10 Plus Z8350 with W10/Remix.

I had the SD working fine in both, but since last Friday, it doesn't work on Windows 10 with error code 10 like manonegra222 said.

I tried a lot of things (restore drivers, restore tablet with Macrium, Windows solutions...), but nothing works and I read before that Emily said that it's a problem and it must be solved with a BIOS Update... but this BIOS Update doesn't exist.

It is the screen of my problem. In the driver's events, it shows an error from Windows PnP with a ID 411.
In Android, SD works fine.

I hope solve it. Thanks.

Hi, I have the problem too. My tablet it's a Chuwi Hi10 Plus. In other brands with similar problem like Teclast solved the problem with a bios update.

I hope you can get some update that solves the problem.

So Teclast solved they problem you say ?

Why are so many ppl with Teclast devices then also complaining over the same problem, even M$ Surface struggles with the problem
My own experince with SD card, my first 128 GB Kingston, worked at first, but now i can't write to it without it crashing in Windows, that goes for both my Hi12 and Hibook Pro, haven't tried it in my Hibox-hero yet

But all 3 of my Samsung EVO+ (red) 64, 128 and 256 GB works without any flaws in both tablets

Update:

Have now tried my Kingston 128 GB with a Medion SD adapter in the Hibox-hero, working flawless there so far
I do NOT work for Chuwi. Please DO NOT pm or email me with problems you may have!

Hi,  I have the same issue in a Hi10 Pro with Z8300 , but in my case it happens in windows 10 and remixOS both.

I tried with several microSD Samsung EVO 64 and 16 GB, and Sandisk 16GB.

same here chuwi hi10pro z8350 only 2 sd working in windows now the first is a noname 1gb sd card and the second one is noname 8gb sd card.
Both of them it should be less than 10class...
So no class 10 is working or even u3 from my experience and ofc in windows system,

Same bug on HiBook Z8300.
SD card is working on RemixOS 2.0, but not in Windows.
I tried to reinstall the bios and nothing has changed.
In addition, it fails with any SD Card, no matter what class it has.

Hello,
My case is the same as the one said by the other users. My tablet is Hi10 plus Z8350 dual W10 - Android.
My SD card has stopped working, but since last saturday, it doesn't work on Windows 10 with error code 10 like manonegra222 said.
In Android also has stopped working.
It is a mistake I see common and I would like Chuwi to bother fixing it.
The truth is that I intend to return the product if the problem is not resolved soon.
I hope that Chuwi will attend to its clients and solve this problem.
