How much more powerful the N3450 is than Z8350?

A series of tablet carrying Apollo Lake processor came out in the 1st quarter of 2017, CHUWI Hi13 is most typical among them. Amazing by its N3450 processor and 13.5 inch screen with epic resolution 3000*2000, Hi13 is the world's second model of tablet with splendid dynamic sound effect by carrying 4 x AAC speakers after iPad pro. Now we make comparison between Hi13 carrying N3450 and Hi10 pro carrying Z8350:

Comparison between Z8350 and N3450 about thread and main frequency

The chart above is the comparison between Z8350 and N3450 about thread and main frequency. Both Z8350 and N3450 adopts quad core quad threading processor, but their operating frequency is different. Z8350's main frequency is 1.44GHz and Turbo frequency reaches up to 1.92GHz,while N3450's is 1.1GH ,up to 2.2GHz separately. By comparison, we may make the conclusion that latest N3450's main frequency is lower than Z8350's, so N3450 does better for consumption controlling in simple office operation every day. N3450's turbo frequency, which reaches up to 2.2Ghz,is 0.28 GHz higher than Z8350’s, it will accelerate the loading speed and make operation more fluently when starting some larger-sized application software.

According to the data provided by Intel Co. Ltd officially, the CPU performance of N3450 increased 30% than that of Z8350, while GPU did 70%, which make the tablet more playable. Whatever play 4K video or mainstream network games, Hi13 does better than Hi10 pro. Here below is the benchmark data of them provided by Geekbench.

Comparing the single-core score of the two models, Hi13 is only about 600 higher than Hi10. But it is surprising that Hi13 is more than 2 times higher than Hi10 pro for multi-core scores. That's to say, Hi13 is better than Hi10 pro in all aspects, which proved the official data of Intel about CPU performance is accurate.
