Does this mean that no Hi12 Tablet supports Hipen H3? You write in an earlier post that the new Hi ...

Yes, i said.
Chuwi Hipen H3 will support future Hi12 tablet. For some reason, the current version Hi12 can't still use Hipen H3.
Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Emily you even provide the serial number batch that support h3, so this info was unchecked or was deliberately wrong both cases are bad practices.
Probably me is not the only one that purchase this tablet and make this decision based in your info, even spent some additional USD in a h3 stylus. Now we must even pay more for a h1 (not desired at all) for having a tablet/stylus combo that does not fit our needs.
What do you suggest to do with this?

I am very sorry about it.
Your Hipen H3 will be useful if you want to buy other Chuwi device, such as Chuwi Surbook.

Emily you must be kidding me.
I bought 4 Chuwi tablets last years for me and my family, after this you can bet I never buy a chuwi again, not for the tablets itself but for this kind of support for loyal buyers as me. And of course I advise other users in several forums to be aware of this.
I'm very dissapointed, even more becasue I loved Chuwi products.

Sorry that you feel dissapointed.

It's indeed a shame for companies to false market there products, or make false promises. But to be honest, this is a general problem in chinese companies. But don't worry, they are improving, believe me

What I would do in your case is returning it and say it doesn't work. They will give your money back, which you will be able to use for buying the H1. It's their fault you bought it in the first place, so they may aswell pay you back the money.

Well, I have the Z8300 Hi12 Dual boot and was lucky enough to get the correct H1 pen for it, but I have to agree that there is still FAR too much just plain incorrect information about these tablets and their accessories.  I know, I know, it's cheaper, it's a better deal, blah, blah, blah...  I told myself the same thing, and I am happy with my purchase overall, but the pen still does not work as well as I'd like sometimes and there have been far too many "Oh, brother I think it's bricked!" moments along the way.  At some point these companies have to realize that getting it right in the first place is IMPORTANT, even if it means taking a little longer to do it CORRECTLY!  Planning, limiting feature bloat, and testing prototypes COMPLETELY prior to production is the key to proper execution.  They'll learn that it's eventually DO or DIE!  I like my Hi12, now that I've gotten past most of it's quirks, but I will never buy another Chuwi product without being COMPLETELY sure of what I'm getting into first!

Hi, thank you for the forum.
I have a Chuwi hi 12, on the back that's written logo "HiPen h3", serial number hi12 q64g451709023[XX], this mean h3 pen will work for sure?
Thank you!

I dont know where to place this question. It is about a replacement for the tips of the H... pens. Are there any on the market? How can I replace it, simply pulling? Thanks for the answer, and move this post to the correct place please.

Hey everyone,

I would like to share my experience with different Styluses and the hi12.

I have a Chuwi Hi12 with the serial Q64G4517090XXXX and bios version 5.11 from 16th August 17, and used the bios that emily send me in the thread "[Hi12] [Official Version][Dualboot] Chuwi Hi12 Android, Remix, Windows, Bios, driver... " to reflash it.

Everything works fine now, its only that the tablet doesn't recognize any stylus pen. I tried with the HiPen H1 and HiPen H3 now, but both have absolutely no reaction. It's like the tablet doesnt recognize these pens at all.

Of course I have tried everything obvious, like putting the battery in either direction, I checked the device settings in windows and made sure "Ignore touch input when I am using my pen" is off and even uninstalled drivers from the device manager under the point "human interface devices" - "HID compilant pen", "HID-compilant touchscreen" and let them reinstall.

Nothing worked so far. Please is there anything else I can do to use this tablet with a stylus pen?
