I've been footling around with my Chuwi HiBook for over a year now, scrabbling around on XDA, Modaco, needROM and other sites to try and find stable custom ROMs. Personally i never use my Windows partition so it's important for me to maximise functionality on android. I thought I'd start this thread so that you guys can list any stable ROMs you find out there and we can all benefit.

Personally I've only found these two custom ROMs which have proved to be problem free:

LineageOS 13 (android Marshmallow 6.0) (KonstaT)
http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/378038-devrom281-lineageos-13-android-601-for-chuwi-vi10-plus-hi10-plus-hi10-pro-hibook-hibook-pro-hi12/

RemixOS 2.0 (Kostyamat)
http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-1577-1-1.html

IMHO Remix os was the fastest, but i don't like the launcher and you can't use third party launchers so I've reverted to lineage 13. It's stable, battery lasts longer and if I'm not mistaken WiFi is slightly improved.

It would be great for others of you to continue this thread by adding any other ROMs you've discovered, with a brief opinion. I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes by listing these, credit to Kostyamat and KonstaT. Fantastic input.

Thanks for your response Konsta, big fan of your work. I wonder whether you have the time to write a step by step tutorial on reformatting the partitions on the HiBook and flashing the gpt script to get rid of the Windows partitions and allot the space to android. I've read a few articles about it but nothing has been clear enough for me to follow with confidence.
