Just don't like the big bezel around the screen

Might have been meant for the keyboard layout width, and to be somewhat more uniform with the rest of it.

Edit: looked at the video again, there is definitely room on the keyboard sides to make the entire Lapbook smaller thus also the screen-bezels. Is it lap-mode width consideration? Is it an internals practicality choice? Did they put the 12.3inch Surface Pro 4 Screen in the same formfactor as the Lapbook 14 for manufacturing reasons?

I see Windows in that video also reports not only missing Pen support (active Stylus) but also missing touch support (no passive capacitive stylus either). /Edit.

There have been bezel-LESS (less-bezels, not without) recent competitors reviews AMDtech guy. But the screen is probably bigger, so the keyboard had more room because of that (Edit: invalid argument).

Because the Lapbook 12.3 is competing with Surface Pro 4 and that Tabtop "clones", based on the idea that lap-mode is required to the other customers segment, making  the keyboard the selling point. Since it sacrifices the advantages of a Tabtop to make it a Lapbook focussed on lap-mode as a laptop.

With the high "retina quality" 267PPI and as balanced of size-weight vs mobility of a screen size. But.. how much lighter is it than the Lapbook 14? Or is the screen's higher PPI (worth it) and more RAM (worth it) and other things the actual selling point? Or the smaller formfactor (Edit: dubious at this point, but advertised dimensions of both can be compared) allowed additions without making it heavier than the Lapbook 14?

Edit: it is however entirely a "laptop". That's also their marketing term. But don't expect touch support just because they have used the Surface Pro 4 screen (assumption on my part)./Edit.

The bigger bezels at the sides of the Hi13 detached landscape-mode makes it easier to hold (at least like older iPads) without triggering touch commands. And when rested on oneself because of the size-weight, in portrait-mode the screen is better visible and not further down if bezel was smaller.

Edits: improvements + addition.

I think he is asking Chuwi to pay attention to the following thread: http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-3292-1-1.html

Simply mentioning.m Chuwi's name or Emily's name in a thread will not be listed to receive a response. Any further comments are best added to that thread.
