Hello,

I had two HI12 in my hands, mine is Q64G45170100682 and the other Q64G4516*
On the previous version Windows Sleep/Wake up and also sd card reader feature is working well.

on the Q64G45170100682 with the same windows version, it never wakeup, the graphic card seems to not restore the driver state.
Also the sd card reader make an IO error when I plug the same sd card that work on Q64G4516*. (the sd card reader was working just before an early windows update)

I just updated the Windows to the last creator update version, but it still the same.
Is there a way to get updated intel drivers for the Q64G45170100682 ?

What is the exact component difference between Q64G45170100682  and Q64G4516* ?

Thanks

Maybe I found a way to restore the sleeping state correctly (need more tests in time)
- connect a keyboard
- in device manager, right click on the intel hd graphics
- select remove device and check the case "uninstall driver"
- the screen goes off
- press the space or enter key to respond "yes" to the message "reboot computer now"
- once the tablet restarted go in the devices manager again
- right click on the windows base graphic...
- select update driver and let windows find the last intel hd driver

for now I finally can use the power button or cover to go sleep mode and wake up!

the sd card seems to get back from the dead just after that ^^ weird but ok cool the tablet is working for now!

For the wakeup issue I found that the google music extension of google chrome was the program that prevent the tablet to go in sleep mode totally.
If you experience this problème you can check the program that override to sleep mode by command : powercfg -requests

Good to know! I hate when I don't know why the computer doesn't got to sleep or unexpectedly wakes up. For the latter I turned off all possible triggers for waking up. With the exception of the power button.

I  have issues with my newer dual boot with the Z8750  CPU have a screen sleep in windows 10 and not a PC sleep and the mouse/BT keyboard and half the time the windows button on the tablet will not wake it!
To put it mildly this is completely unacceptable on anything not designed by a Chinese company. I might be a bit offensive here, but if you sell crap, well then guess what will happen...the word will spread and you you wake up thinking you ass got kicked by Patton.
Now I want a bios update that fixes this problem and one that allows me to run the DDR3 memory at 1600 Mhz.

Mmmmm, guess you're not going to have much luck with the bluetooth keyboard/mouse waking it very well as they usually power down and have to wake also...  If it's in sleep the Windows button may not wake it either, don't recall if mine does...  Why not simply press the power button briefly to wake it?

As for the memory, not sure if it's any different for the newer Z8750 model, or if it makes any difference, but you can change a BIOS setting to run the memory at a higher speed for maybe a slight increase in performance, at the cost of higher power drain, at least on the Z8300 models...  I seem to recall that it was estimated to be a less than 10% change in performance.  No offense intended, but, frankly, if you want performance, why buy an Intel Atom based product in the first place?  There are certainly more powerful choices available...
