A good example of communicating well enough between peers, but more importantly a good example of where to not fiddle with your Chuwi device!

2. Turn off Automatic Driver Updates in Windows Updater. And only update drivers manually using drivers provided on the forum adhering to these indications: What " Download "/Support files are Official by Chuwi?

This "best practice", mind the thread title, is based on the most recent thread:
Hi12 barely booting up (black screen) - wisest course of action?

There was also a tutorial that I can't find, in which a driver has to be installed manually, and explicitly state to not update it with Windows updater, whatever you do. That instruction was for an arbitrary Chuwi device.

And very old threads that also suggest avoiding this pitfall:
SOLVED: Bricked Tablet Death Possible with Windows driver update !

ATTENTION: ChuWI has removed the faulty driver from WIndows Update, its safe now

ATTENTION: Possible Bricked Tablets, turn off automatic driver updates

Edit: clarity.
