hi13pro?
Any info about this tablet and a release?
maybe i should wait a bit.

Also keep in mind that if an Hi13 Pro comes with a Core m3 and an SSD, it might cost twice as much as the regular Hi13, or about $700.

the current cube thinker i35 has 8gb ram, 256gb ssd with the m3. It costs 700 wich is a really good price. I just dont want to buy it because i need a convertible or tablet.

It's a great laptop for the price, yes. If you've decided to wait for the SurBook, keep in mind it also uses eMMC, and not an actual SSD. If it's 256GB of storage that you need, there's a good chance Hi13 supports 256GB microSD cards; maybe you should investigate that.

Just for reference, SurBook's 12.3" 3:2 screen is, vertically, the equivalent of a 13.9" 16:9 screen or a 12.9" 16:10 screen so doing work and/or basic tasks would be almost like using a standard 14" screen; video, however, would appear as it would on an 11.7" screen.

i have always maintained that chuwi did a miscalculation in pairing up such a nice screen with a very weak celeron based cpu/gpu. total waste of money for the buyers. it is like you are designing a ferrari or porche but putting in a scooter or motor cycle engine in it. sure it will move the car slowly but you can imagine the performance of it.

i want to switch microsd cards alot, not have one already taken. plus i miss standard sized usb ports on the Hi13. i like deejay's comparision on the hi13.
It needs some more beefy hardware. I wouldnt mind paying 700 dollar for the hi14 with 8gb ram and 256gb ssd and core m3.

That's what I thought when everyone was so over-hyped about hi13 with the Apollo lake CPU...

Give me a break, it's just a  fancier name of Atom, that's all. You can even get stutter of it by simple web browsing (Apollo lake).

So if you want HUGE difference compared to Atom and Apollo, you have to go for Core M - at least.

I would rather spend 300 more bucks for that Core M. It's totally worth it if you look at what you get instead of half measure.

Pity to combine that amazing screen to that crappy Apollo.

Well, I think that is the issue. I think Chuwi wants there products to be available to most people, and at this prize they have a wide spread of potential buyers.
Yes, this isn't a beast in cpu/gpu, but so didn't you pay for a beast in that aspect.

In my opinion the picture below indicates what I would like to have seen.
Btw, this is kind of going of topic, it's more a general discussion about the hi13 pro now

hello

Just a small question  (maybe already asked, sorry I'm new):

they said  "64GB eMMC storage
ensure that everything runs smoothly. What's more,
it can be expendable to max 128GB."

is that 128gb via an microSD card  ?

thank you

Yep, that 128Gb is through SD card. However, we think it may even get up to 256Gb. I think someone tried it, can't recall.

I have 256Gb card installed into hi13, works w/o any problem.
