Hello,

I bought the lapbook 14.1. But when I wanted to start it the first time, it didn't react. The led flashes on, but the screen stays black. So the lapbook even doesn't start the Bios, or the screen isn't connected.
Please help me!

Thanks in advance
Dirk

1. Leave the power button pressed for 30 seconds.
2. When released, press it again 3 times in a row.
3. Put the tablet to load and check if it turns on

During the 30sec the led goes 5sec on after 5sec off,...
After I pressed 3 times in a row.
I try to start up normally, still black screen.
So didn't work, or I did it wrong.
Thanks for the quick reply!

I have exactly the same problem on the machine that arrived yesterday. The blue led flashes but no chuwi logo shows up.
I would appreciate any kind of advice. Thank you.

it seems there is a problem with the current BIOS. I have the same problem running Linux.
You need to drain all power from the Motherboard. Then you will be able to restart.
- diconnect the power supply
- Turn on the laptop and plug in a lot of USB devices to drain the power OR
- open the laptop and disconnect the battery from the motherboard
- wait for a moment, connect the power back
You will be able to boot.
The old press power 3 times wait and press power long does not work.
This is not a solution to make the boot problem go away, but at least you can restart the Laptop.

This solution is also not working. Lapbook display is still black, even when the battery was unplugged from mainboard.

The last time I tried to start-up the lapbook I saw a very dark logo (Chuwi and some chinese signs) a few seconds after I pushed the power bottom. After a few seconds, it disappears. It's almost untraceable. I don't know what is wrong. Maybe the brightness of the screen is on 1% or something. After the logo disappears, I can't see anything else. Maybe this was also in the beginning. It's so dark that you cant see it normally.
