My brnad is a Sandisk class 10 64gb formated in exFat. No i havent tried to put other sd cards.

It really works.
I have tried many many SD cards of all sizes from 2Gb to 64GB.
Make sure you really have replaced the drivers correctly and made the required BIOS change. You cannot install this driver until you have turned off the Windows driver integrity check as per the instructions.
I didn't have to mess with files other than using the Device Manger to update the driver. I did click the box to uninstall the original driver software in the update drivers dialog.

I've done this on my Chuwi Hi10 Plus and it start reading SDCard (after so many months!!).

Then I went to Remix and SD Card also working well.

When I get back to windows. It did not show SD Card again.

I've check it and the drivers still the same (version 6).

There is something about went in Android mode that make this SD incompatible in windows!!

Sorry, i've a problem.
I can't replace SDBUS.SYS and DUMPSD.SYS in "System32/Drivers", because i'm not allowed as administrator. I try to use administrator account but nothing, also i've set all permits in this account (read, write, etc..) and for all the file in C:\Windows.
I don't understand that the post says "If drivers are not replaced – your best bet is “Unlocker”. You may also need to use Safe Mode Command Prompt to change take ownership of the file".
Can you help me?

Hello Gibbo,
To replace the driver is a single necessary thing. Don't need to do the rest.

To update the drivers you need to "choose from a list" rather than just browse your PC.
Also, you will be offered 2 choices.  You need to change to the SDA driver.  You'll then get the 6.3 version.

My Sd card was working fine in both but then just randomly stopped.
Oddly, by changing this driver in Windows it is now detected in Android again....But not in windows.  How can that be??

I'm still struggling against this!!!

In my last post: after I have done everything as described and it have worked until I went in remix mode.

Than I saw in BIOS that "MS Custom Sdbus Driver" went disable alone.

I've turn it enable and went in the device manager here those drivers were in the 6 version.

But in system32\drivers there were only SDBUS.SYS and DUMPSD.SYS version 10!!

I used unlocker to delete them and after that windows died!!

Now.. I've installed windows again and I will try to replace SDBUS.SYS and DUMPSD.SYS files in system32\drivers again.. wish me luck!!

Now, I've done it all...

Drivers updated by the version 6 ones..

I also changed the files SDBUS.SYS and DUMPSD.SYS on "system32\drivers" with the UNLOCKER.

And now it recognizes the SD card.. but just for a few seconds..

Then I have to remove and insert the SD card.. windows recognizes it.. and it last just for few seconds..
