Hello there!
I have a Chuwi Hi10 Pro, with dual boot Android/Windows 10, HQ Serial, 64G eMMC, 2016/12, Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor, 4GB RAM.
Windows works perfectly fine. But Android had the "Google servers issue", so I could never set up an account nor install any apps.
I've stopped using Android until just now, when I found out it seems I might have set up a pattern lock when I bought it. But I forgot it.
As no Google Account could have been set up, I think the recovery options aren't the usual.
How can I unlock it? (I'm really interested in keeping the Windows 10 part intact)
Thanks.

Just reflash Android.
You can leave your Windows untouched if you choose flash-no-erase-all.json.
How to flash Android
You can find the flash-no-erase-all.json file here

After restart of the tablet I was able to setup my Google account.

I like this tablet. I just ordered a second one for my daughter."

Factory resetting the android partition will reset the code so if you want to do a “factory reset”, do the following:

1. Power off the device.
2. Hold the POWER and VOL — down until you see the Droidboot screen, the release both buttons
3. Use the VOL + or –  until you have hilighted the word  Recovery in yellow.
4. Press the POW button momentarily. The device will boot to the recovery menu.
5. Use the VOL + or – to highlight Wipe data/Factory reset
6. Press the POW button momentarily. Confirm you wish to reset the device.
7. Your Data partition will be reset. Reboot to android and all settings and apps have been wiped.

Thank you all for your answers!
Techdragonz, this seems to be the quick effective workaround I was looking for. Will this affect the Windows part and my documents there?
I guess it won't help with the 'Google Accounts' issue?

I think normally it will only affect the android partition, not 100% sure.

However, you can just make a backup of all your windows files to just be safe.

About the issue with google services, I used to have tis issue on my rooted phones and to fix it I had to reflash the google stuff...
As I don't know how to do this on dual boot devices, I'd say try reflashing everything, which will fix your password issue and might fix your android server issue.

hello, here is another user who has the same issue:
" Hello,

Hi Emily. I followed the link in your quote (http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-2341-1-1.html) and there are two links for HQ serial keys: one of them between 1701 to 1703 and the other one is from 1703 onwards. My model seems not to be covered by any of this! Here's my serial number: HQ64G42161210...
Which files shall I use?

Once I get the right Android file, should I follow the instructions in this thread (http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-1633-1-1.html)?

Thanks in advance.

For the record: I have a Chuwi Hi10 Pro, with dual boot Android/Windows 10, HQ Serial, 64G eMMC, 2016/12, Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor, 4GB RAM.

Thank you Emily. My last question: using that file won't erase Windows. Is that right?

Or should I use the flash-no-erase-all.json file? (the one you posted here http://forum.chuwi.com/forum.php ... page=1&authorid=290)

Thanks!
