Hi,
Can anyone guide is why chuwi hi13 geting heated near USB-C port in front and back side of panel.
Battery showing only 4-5 hrs backup.
Is this normal ? or needs some attention.

Is it like this was co-incident after upgrading to latest windows upgrade.

Charging is woring fine from the port.

Hi nshinde,

I recommend you to buy an other charger because original charger is clearly not recommended. It may be the reason why your USB-C Port is hot.

Chuwi Staff recommend to buy this charger : https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Cha ... ey+usb+c+pd+charger

You can read this thread to get more informations about problem with original charger : http://forum.chuwi.com/thread-4540-1-1.html

Hi nshinde,

unfortunately chances are high that your Hi13 now already got permanent damage.  Charging will still work but you lost full functionality of the USB-C port and the battery run time is reduced because the damaged component will drain power continuously.

If you send in for repair on warranty most likely the entire mainboard is replaced so make sure to backup all data.

The Aukey Charger will NOT work once your PD-chip on the Hi13 got fried. Windows still will report 'charging' but battery percentage will not go up but down.  Charging only can work if supplied voltage is 12V.

Thanks Everyone for reply.

What I noticed is charging is working fine, heating is still there if running on battery.
USB C port only working as charging port and usb c pendrive doesn't work.

Looks like some problem with internal circuit.

Any idea if CHUWI has service support in INDIA ?
