Would you recommend the iKits charger? I am thinking to buy it. Well, at the moment I am waiting for an answer from the service since my tablet can only charge with the original charger now. So yea? Is that charger any good?

iKits charger should work to, but if you can only charge with original charger, it means your USB PD chip is fried. So a 'smart' PD charger would not charge your Hi13. By using the original charger you can still charge (because it just supplies 12V to USB-C connector, whatever is attached to it!!! Good for also frying your smartphone), but the question is, maybe you will add additional defects. But that is something for Chuwi warranty/support.

Internet is full of Chuwi charging/battery problems:

still no response from chuwi.
gearbest offers either 45$ refund or send the item back to china for repair.it will cost me 40 euros or something like that to send it back. and what if it gets stuck on customs on the way back?

when i inquired about sending it to EU repair center they said :
The item only can repair in China.
what do you think i should do?im tempted to accept the 45$ and NEVER buy a chuwi product again.

It just happened to me too, my Chuwi´s hi13 USB type C port can´t recognize anything that I plug into it, no matter what adapter/cable I am using, only thing I can do is charging the device with the original charger, but nothing else.
Tablet is not hot, and I saw a kind of question mark over a unit icon somewhere, so I will try to do a Windows repair, I was about to do it anyway cause I can´t update it and system is slower than when I bought it, let´s see what happens after that, I hope it works because having to send the tablet back to China from EU really sucks and I wouldn´t like to do it if I can avoid it, obviously. I´ll tell you after I do the Windows repair shortly.

That yellow triangle with the question mark you will have seen in the device manager and probably in the USB driver. If so, it will probably be corrected with the option to repair Windows. If not, you can reinstall the driver.
Please, comment if the bug has been corrected in order to continue with the support
