Thanks for all the responses peeps and sorry for the late reply myself, I was away and unable to respond (chuwi ran out of battery and wont charge now as the usb c pin is still partially toasted)

i wanted to see if i could try and put a fresh usb c cable in to charge it and if the charring was just aesthetic problem.

So i plugged the cable into a 2.4a usb 2.0 port in my portable charger and very quickly pulled it back out as the new usb c cable already started to fry. Definitely more than a visual toasting (i have read all the replies and understand the original charger cable is not good)

So i will contact Chuwi's europe repair centre and see about sending it back for repairs. I hope they can try and get my work off it though as due to a lack of battery or any viable charging technique i cannot get it to boot =/ honestly though why couldnt they just add a second usb c port? would make a world of difference.

Ill keep yall updated and update the thread once its returned with a third party charger review best of luck to you all with similar issues!

Artowi your article really helped thanks man!

Others have gotten responses in the past, but wait-times differ greatly and often issues get piled up. It seems it's just one guy that has to handle all the incoming emails. And his English is not as good as Emily's.  What did you use to contact the European after-sales division?

What's the best channel for contacting them about the warranty? I had used the Contact Us form a couple days to send in my details, but have heard nothing back.
