Sad to hear that there is yet another issue with the port even if someone used the correct charger...Well as bithing else works your chip is probably broken too. I will keep a close eye on my own charger to see if it results in the same. Send chuwi a mail so you can get that replaced. This isnt a minor issue anymore as many people start having the issue after a while... Will pass this through internally so they may fix future batches.

I charged the tablet twice with the original charger when I got it, since I was not aware, I don't know if that had any influence. Yea it's sad, the device itself is awesome! I can't complain. But this issue with the charger is really frustrating. I sent Chuwi an email, let's see what they decide.

Did you use an OTG adapter? Just to be absolutely sure that it's not that. Because I've not witnessed a TypeC product connected directly to the Hi13. So a device without an OTG adapter. I'm not sure if that could make a difference. To be absolutely sure. Mine works with the OTG. That I can confirm.
Try a mouse via OTG. It can't get more basic than that.

Edit: clarity.

Might be relevant:

8. USB Type-C: as reported does not work while directly connect a USB 2 hdd, 'strange'.   No(need a USB C hub);

No I have not used an OTG adapter.Yea I will do that, but the USB Drive was the only thing I could get in a short time, I will order one from Amazon as soon as I can. Anyway as reported previously, doesn't look good. Will be back for more update.
