Hi micheal1979 you should try to run your windows in safe mode to see if it's work or just re-install windows

you can find OS & drivers here : http://forum.chuwi.com/forum.php ... ypeid%26typeid%3D55

It does not have to be a problem. Have you tried to let her finish? They are usually processes associated with the updates and that require some time, even hours, to finish and close the computer properly. Before having to reinstall, I would pay attention to the screen and wait, yes with the charger plugged in.

Eh guys, there is some updates during this summer, no hollidays for Microsoft! This updates are very slow to install. Even on a big computer, so...  Noting strange, just have to be patient!

PS: mine is actually working, "getting Windows ready..." since 1 hour! No problem, it will be ready later!

I purchase a Chuwi 15.1 from GearBest and with the latest Microsoft Fall upgrade the unit just will not upgrade. it sits there groaning and attempting to download for several hours.  I had run the official MS installer and it went through all the motions. But after a number hours it indicated that 1709 Fall update had failed.  I removed the Upgrade App and it is still trying to install automatically.  It has indicated that it has downloaded and is now attempting for the 4th time to "install" update (2%)... But when it reaches around 10% it will just give up.
I have seen that the 14.1 version has a Sata III socket installed to insert an SSD card  But I understand that the 15.1 does not have this feature?
Needless to say I am not happy with this device.  Buy cheap  Get Cheap.
