If its like all other Chuwi keyboard things, its caursed by there is no dedicated driver for the touchpad, but only a genetic mouse driver
I do NOT work for Chuwi. Please DO NOT pm or email me with problems you may have!

Is there a 3rd party driver to install for the touchpad?

The behavior in windows 10 is really poor without being able to enable palm-suppression and touch-to-click

There MUST be a solution to the touchpad problems.  It's getting really annoying and ruining an otherwise good laptop.  It's an obvious thing, and there are so many drivers available .... unless chuwi reinvented it all there is already a driver somewhere that can be updated/integrated to work.

Six weeks into this I'm starting to shop for another laptop.  SERIOUSLY regretting this one.

Please help. (this is a really big flaw in an otherwise great laptop)

I have the Lapbook 12.3 and I have no problems with the touchpad. You do not mean Windows Gestures by moving your finger to one side or the other that minimizes windows and so on. If that is not a computer problem but a Wndows utility that can be disabled by entering mouse - track options

You can disable gestures but it’s still annoying af when your mouse starts moving when you put your palm on touchpad while typing. This is the worst thing about this laptop. I like it otherwise but that touchpad is so annoying it should make any potential buyer reconsider just because of it.
