I have a dual boot Hi10 pro that is dead. I checked the internals and everything seems ok, so I'm guessing the bios got messed up by something (i.e. windows update). the serial is  HQ64G42161********, for which I couldn't find anything (not even windows/android images).

where can I get a bios file?

Thanks.

We will need another number to identify your tablet model: HQ64G42161 ********

If you have not done anything, it just does not turn on, it may be because the battery has been discharged to minimum levels that do not allow the start. Try charging the tablet's battery for at least 2 days to see if the orange led starts flashing. Do this operation without keyboard.

Hi (Hola, por tu nombre supongo que eres español),

The tablet is not mine, is from a familiar who has no idea of anything related to technology, so I have no idea of what she did. I charged the tablet for maybe a day and I checked the battery voltage with a multimeter and that is not the problem.

Prueba con ésto para intentar resetear.

Try this to try to reset.

1. Leave the ignition button pressed for 30 seconds.
2. When released, press it again 3 times in a row.
3. Put the tablet to charge and check if it turns on

I have done a careful research through the internet before posting here. Most of the information I got is either from this forum or from a page called techtablets.com. I'm trying to reflash the bios as my last resource as I have tried everything else before, and it doesnt work. I can provide a backup of the current bios in case you have a way to tell me if its damaged.

No, I have no way to figure out if your bios is damaged. If you need the right bios for your tablet and it is not published, you should wait until the holidays for the Chinese New Year and request it from Emily.
