I successfully flashed this ROM but was surprised to find it re-installed Kitkat instead of Marshmallow. can you please tell me where I can download a Marshmallow image ?

Marshmallow for Hi8 is just a hoax spread by some stupid people. There was never a marshmallow rom.
Stop flashing random stuffs from internet links.
If Chuwi is to update Marshmallow for their tablet, there are newer models to update, not this old one.
