Recently I have been having issues with my keyboard dock as it becomes listed as USB device not recognized. In the devices page on windows 10 it is listed as Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed).

Essentially the keyboard is unusable and unplugging and plugging it back in to the dock result in the same problem. Both the power LED on the keyboard turn off and  track pad is unresponsive. The odd thing is the keyboard work perfectly fine in when entering the BIOS or upon OS boot selection screen or initial start up after a shutdown.

Ive done everything from Resetting my tablet to Deleting and Reinstalling the Drivers. To me it seems like a driver error or something to do with my tablet but I am unsure now.

If anyone has any idea on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey

I also have this problem, it would be nice to have it fixed as I am contemplating returning the tablet. The keyboard did work for a few minutes, and since then has stopped working.

Do Chuwi have a support system I can use?

The fact that not only happens to you and that there are other users with the same problem, as well as that the keyboard works correctly before loading Windows tells us clearly that it corresponds to a driver failure. I advise you to download the drivers from the download area of your tablet model and reinstall from there.

Hey,

After much confusion and frustration I actually ordered another keyboard, to see if it was faulty. It was not faulty.
I actually found that I can access the bios of the tablet using a keyboard through the micro usb and spam delete. Once you are in the bios find a setting called "XHCI Hand Off" and turn it off. With that setting turned off everything now works, including data transfer via the USB C port which didn't work before.

So now I have two keyboards lol. Going to return one of them. Also, to those who don't have the keyboard I highly recommend that you buy one. It feels good and the trackpad is decent. Only issue is US keyboard layout, they don't have a UK version.
Althoug only issue now is that the USB ports on the keyboard don't work.

edit - keyboard has yet again stopped working...
