Does anyone now if the lapbook has a lid closing switch? I was thinking that maybe this is broken or doesn't work proper.

I have the same problem with a unit i got from gearbest. Am now looking for a replacement motherboard as am convinced it's the issue and more specifically the Bios flash memory. Is there a hack for tge bios or a way to get another motherboard?

Check out the download thread on forums, there is a tutorial how to unbrick it. It might be helpful.

Hello everyone,

I contact the chuwi service 6th July 2017. They told me to send the labbooks to one of there repair station. So I did. Now 8 month's and over 40 emails later I still didn't get my lapbooks back.
Chuwi has a shitty service!
Please work on it!

Not amused!
Dirk

PS.: The screens where black because the LCD cable is not good designed and breaks fast. And It burns the motherboard. That's what the guy from the repair station told me.

Hi,

i had the same probleme this week .

To go back to original bios (if your laptop is not bricked but in a specific state) you have to open it and unplug the battery from the mother board .

Let it 2 or 3 minutes like that and replug it. The original param of the bios will be up and the laptop will restart corectly.

This is what it show with the head of my screwdriver

Sorry to revive such a old post

I made a tutorial on how to fix this without removing the battery, and it only requires a USB keyboard
