Full cycles may readjust the charging control. But LiIon rechargeables don't need full cycles. There is no memory effect or similar. What LiIon hates is heat (=very quick charge/discharge), hi cell voltage over long times (i.e. charged to 100%) and low cell voltage (avoid deep discharge...)  Limited charge to 80% should be a feature in all devices, that's genious! Just recharge early and you battery livss longer.
