Booting from SSD

Hi, i installed a new SSD in the slot, cloned emmc to SSD and tried to boot windows from there but can't find the way to make it works. It always boot from hard drive.
Did anyone succeded in booting from SSD?

You will need to change the system boot order on the bios, selecting the SSD first.

No, there are no boot options in BIOS "eMMC" or "SSD". After the installation of another Device you get a second Windows Boot Manager. In my case the second one had the device name (a crucial M.2) in brackets. But this did not help me either: Whatever I defined as first boot device, the Lapbook always boots from the eMMC.
I then simply erased every partition from both SSDs when booting from a 1703 USB stick and simply installed a new Windows onto the SSD.

Make sure you update to the latest available BIOS.

I then used the following instructions to clone Windows from the eMMC to SSD:

I'm able to set the boot device in BIOS, eMMC or SSD.

Thx, I will try soon this then, hopefully it's the bios that is not updated.

I used Easeus to clone systeme on mine. No bios update requiered!

I did the same, EASEUS, and got your Boot option.... but it will not boot from SSD despite what you choose
