Hello Motobot,

thank you for your help! The installation worked fine the way you described it!

Hello Berioldir,
All drivers are included. You should look for another reason for this problem. Carefully check for a device that has a problem in the Device Manager.
The information you provide is clearly not enough to give you more specific advice.

Hey,
I don't think that this thread is the right one to discuss my specific problem - I'll open a new one!

Hello EXIA885,
I'm deterred by the fact that something went wrong with 1803. It seems that Microsoft has postponed the official release. Probably need to wait a little longer.
There are chances that the build 17134 can become a new RTM.

Thank you for your excellent install image and instructions Motobot, using them I brought back my Chuwi Hi12 whose Windows installation got corrupt after a bad driver install (was trying to find a proper driver for a Realtek usb nic with Driver Booster and Snappy Driver Installer, with bad results).

Some things were a bit different though, listing them here so that others can compare:

-Plugged usb drive into usb3 port (blue, the "lower" one if power button is on top left and connectors on the left side of the tablet), this caused an ACPI_BIOS_ERROR which caused the tablet to reset with default BIOS settings a few times Plugged it into the black usb2 port on "top" and a usb hub with keyboard and mouse to the lower one, all ok

-Usb drive was shown to have 2 partitions, first an UEFI:NTFS, then another one (sorry forgot the label already). Had to choose this 2nd partition to boot, 1st one resulted in a boot BSOD.

Rest of the install went flawlessly, very nice touch to put links to Control Panel etc on the desktop. Thank you.
If you can make a new installer for the next Windows version I'm sure it will become highly appreciated by everyone.

Hello bogodo777,
Thank you for your post.
As for the BSOD caused an ACPI_BIOS_ERROR, it's a negative effect of DualBoot. If the previous tablet session was on Android the problem always occurs. Therefore there is a point in the manual "3. It is advisable to boot your tablet in Windows first."
To avoid this problem, before using your bootable USB flash drive you must end the Android session by selecting the Boot to Windows option, regardless of whether your Windows corrupted or not.
Then do everything as recommended in the manual.
Good luck!
