It should result in consistent improvements across-the-board. I hope. Not too many years from now? Will Chuwi get on-board with them?

The USI 1.0 specification provides for a stylus capable of communicating with different touch sensors and touch controller integrated circuits. With its defined physical interface and protocol, users will be able to employ the same stylus across touch-enabled devices such as phones, tablets, and computing and entertainment platforms, as long as the device’s touch controller is compliant with the USI 1.0 specification.

The latter shows that if Chuwi uses Goodix with USI v1 support in the future, it will be compliant, and might not need to pay the $4k annual fee to be able to use it as an adopter.

LG seems to have withdrawn its membership, so it will have its own solution it seems like Apple and Samsung.
