Hello everyone. If you were so kind, I need your help, once again.
My tablet is a Chuwi Hi10 Plus dual OS (Serial PQ64G42161001714).

After a brick situation thanks to Windows update, I follow the procedure including an EPROM programmer and the tablet went back to life.
However, now it seems to have a new issue: When I connect the charger, LED starts blinking as normal, but when i disconnect it, it keeps blinkind indefinately (and battery icon shows as still connected!).
Do you have any ideas??
Here's what I've tried:
- On both Windows and android the problem is present.
- When it's off, sometimes it beheaves normally (charger plugged->led blinking; charger unplugged->led OFF) but sometimes just plugging the charger boots the tablet, no need to press any buttom (this is also really anoying)
- I tried three different BIOS and still the issue (names are difficult to compare, I can provide links)
- I tried dischargind completely and charging till full (to "calibrate" battery). No luck.
- Reinstalling windows doesn't solve the problem either
- Reinstalling Intel battery Manager and Microsoft CA in device manager didn't work.
- I change BIOS settings on S5 charging to "Enable", not working either.
- When I plug something on the USB-C port (like a pen drive) blinking sometimes ceases, but sometimes screen starts flickering as well (so I have to plug the charger)
- On windows, charging is reaaaaally slow, and it heats the tablet largely.

Some more info:
When i flashed BIOS with the programmer, I had to cut the positive (red) cable. I soldered it back, I don't see how this could be the problem, but yet.
The only "normal" behavior I have seen is completely off, except those times the tabler turns on by itself. Really hard to understand what's happening, i don't see a pattern.

Well, I sorry for the very long thread. I'd really thank any new ideas. Have a great day!!!

pd: f*ck windows update!! it was perfect before.
pd2: the only thing I never made work is the SD card, I gave up on that a long time ago. After re-flash, the card worked once, and then back to not working.

Since you have the same problem in both Windows and Android I can not think more that your problem comes from flashing Bios. You need the specific Bios for your serial number. Emily must put the necessary Bios in this thread.
When you have done it, if you continue with the problem, we will look for other solutions.

Ups!
I flashed this BIOS.. Tablet seems to be bricked now. Are we sure it is the correct one?

Now if I plug the cable, led starts blinking. When I unplugged it, blinking continues.
It doesn't boot at all. If I leave power button pressed for 15+ secs, blinking stops.

That's all it does..

Any ideas? Thanks again..

I flashed it with the first one you supplied and the tablet is plain dead, bricked.

I'll try to flash with EPROM programer this weekend and I'll let you know if the new bios you gave me works.

Thanks again for your help!

Well, fist of all, thank you very much for your time and help.

Let me update the situation.
The new BIOS was flash with programmer.
Seems to be working fine, but there are some strange and non repetitive behaviors.
At the same time, windows is installing some updates and stuff, so maybe the problem is on that.

I'll wait untill every update has finished and I'll tell you how it works. Nonetheless, it's great to have solved, at least partially, the led blinking problem, so i'm edditing the title to SOLVED.

SD card not working, I believe there's no solution for that, but it's ok I don't really need it.

Thanks again and I'll be back soon woth the latest news before closing the thread..
