Hi there, maybe someone can help me out.

I have my CHUWI aerobook stuck in an infinite loop saying Preparing Automatic Repair. It is a black screen all the time. I have tried rebooting it 3 times but it would not make any changes. Apparently it is because a Windows 10 update that got frozen halfway through.

Could someone let me know how to fix this please?
Thanks

The automatic repair process is usually long and lasts for hours. Each time you interrupt it, it will start again and never end.
It is also possible that it is already corrupted and to solve it you will need, with the help of another computer, to download a Windows 10 Home pendrive with the media management tool (not ISO).
Once you have it, you must turn on the AeroBook with the pendrive on and pressing F7 intermittently until a boot selection menu is displayed. In it you must select the pendrive and after a few seconds with a black screen, a Windows installation menu will open. Choose from that menu the advanced tools and within them, the startup repair.
Once finished, turn off the AeroBook and start again without the pendrive.

Many thanks for your recommendations. I have my pendrive ready and on, but when turning on the computir and pressing F7 intermittently, no boot selection menu pops up. It is just a black screen with the CHUWI logo on. How long do I have to press F7 for?
Many thanks

Pressing F7 intermittently, at intervals of half a second, must be done until the menu comes out

Many thanks for your help, but looks like we are not being successful at all. After 10 min pressing F7 intermittently, USB connected, nothing has happened (picture attached).

I really do not know what to do. Can it be a CHUWI problem and not a Windows problem? Should I send it back to CHUWI (Laptop was acquired in August through Amazon) ?

Thank you

With the pendrive inserted, turn on the tablet and press Esc intermittently to enter the Bios.
Once in the Bios, go to the Boot tab and with the arrows go down to the boot order preference line. Press and on the screen that will open choose the pendrive. Save the changes and exit. You may ask if you want to start from the pendrive, answer yes.

Manonegra thanks for your help but I cannot go any further the black screen you saw in the last picture.

Gracias!

Please, @management, we need the AeroBook bios. It seems that the laptop stops at startup before Windows.

 ![20200417_172346](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/chuwi/original/2X/1/14dea5e065db97b758a5438c10a2d02c808162f8.jpeg)
