[Double Driver] Hi10 X Fresh Install Drivers

These are drivers taken from a brand new Chuwi Hi10 X (Q128GH6206xxxxx)

Drivers:
Drivers (Full)
Drivers (3rd Party)

“Full” includes the generic Windows drivers (supplied with Windows) while “3rd Party” only includes those outside of the generic Windows drivers (such as Chuwi hardware specific drivers)

Software:
Double Driver
7-Zip

Simply use Double Driver to “restore” your required driver or select all of them to return all drivers to the default stock versions.

You might be asking why I would post this when there is clearly a thread titled “[Hi10 X] [Official Version] Chuwi Hi10 X Driver, Windows Tutorial Download”, well it is due to my lack of success with the supplied drivers within that thread.
The “GoodixTouchDriver” is not part of the fresh install driver list and does not work (at least with my Chuwi).
On a clean install of Windows 10 (not from the thread, from the official Windows media creation tool) there was a missing driver for a “PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller” which none of the drivers provided in the “Hi10X Drive”.zip were compatible with.

If you do a clean install of Windows via the ‘Official Version’ within the Hi10 X Driver thread, you should be good to go.
This thread is for those who have installed Windows by another means, have managed to lose a driver, or those who wish to return everything to stock settings and not have to re-install Windows to do so.

I hope this is of use to someone.

Thank you so much, for sure it’s of use.

Which of these input device drivers that can be used to install touchpad driver?

No problem :+1:

You’re most welcome, I’m glad it was of use

I believe you are looking for “I2C HID Device” (it should come as part of windows generic drivers, so it will be in the “Full” download link)

Thanks for the drivers… First thing I did was reinstall a fresh win10 2004…i only needed two drivers from the “third party” pack… They turned out to be the accelerometer and I can’t remember the other one but I just pointed search drivers to the directory where the package unzipped

I’ve got a Q128GH6205****

A big THANK YOU! for your time & efforts in compiling this set. :hugs:

I re-installed Win10 Pro using a bootable USB stick, and it found all but 2 drivers: Display Adapter & Accelerometer:

I would greatly appreciate it if you could include the above missing drivers in your set, or point me to the right ones (I had Windows search both, the 3rd Party as well as the Full set of drivers, but it couldn’t find anything)

UPDATE: Display Adapter updated using “Legacy Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10” from Legacy Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10

Searching for Win10 Creators Update 1703 compatible drivers for Memsic Accelerometer MXC6655

Are you using stylus? On (Q128GH6206xxxxx) series we can use hipen h3? or only hipen h6?

Thanks!
i made a clean installation from a USB to restore my hi10x, and your drivers are perfect.
all driver ok.
The only thing… the clean installation don’t resolve the problem i had…
yesterday i had the BAD idea to update H6 pen… i found here on fourm the update… but…
after that, touchscreen and pen… dont work, or better, are out allineament: if i touch the screen you see the input pen in another part of screen…
And i dont know how resolve…
in this moment i can use the hi10 only as a “little notebook” not as tablet with pen… and this is a big problem!

You are very welcome.
The pointing to the directory method of installing; I’ll add to the original post, thank you for mentioning that :+1:
((edit: Or not, guess there’s a time limit for editing posts… Thank you regardless))

You’re most welcome :grinning:

Have you tried manually pointing to the driver in device manager?
As in: Right clicking the device, update driver, browse computer, let me pick, all devices, then have disc, browsing to the “Memsic Accelerometer MXC6655” folder, selecting the .inf file within it (I imagine you have, but just wanted to check anyway).

Have you tried using double driver to “restore” the accelerometer driver? (Worth a shot, though there doesn’t look to be much to it in terms of files (in comparison to the display driver which has a number of extra files which accompany it) so I doubt, if it didn’t work through automatic update, it’d work through DD, still, only one way to find out).

If none of that works, i’m afraid I can’t be of much use in terms of additional drivers, as I simply took a capture of the hardware present on my device upon booting it up for the first time. If they don’t work/match for your Hi10 X I guess there must be subtle differences in components between older/newer builds of the same model?
Sorry I couldn’t be of more use in this regard.

I am, mine came with the H6, though I know there are models with the H3. I have not tried a H3 pen to see if it is compatible, though.

No problem, I’m glad the drivers worked for you

Your mistake was also made by a colleague of mine.
I feel the H6 pen update is a firmware level change, as we couldn’t get it to function correctly even after a complete wipe and reset of everything (bios, drive partitions, etc), installing the correct drivers allows the pen and touch to work, but not correctly (like you are demonstrating in your picture).
He opted to send the tablet back to the seller for a replacement as, without an official fix/original H6 firmware patcher from Chuwi, it lost a valuable function.

I hope Chuwi releases something that can fix your issue, otherwise, if you can, I’d try to get a replacement.

Thank’s for information
io hope someone of customer service answer me in couple of days
i sent mail, and write on chat facebook, but nothing
if i ve no answer i write to the seller and i ask him to replace it
i hope it is possible
now is only to waiting… and see

Well, i bougth a h3 and it is not working, i emailed and they say to replace to a h6, it’s strange not have backward compatibility, seems nothing changed on hardware.

It is odd that a bluetooth pen can be incompatible with one device but function on another, especially whent hey are, from what I can tell, identical products. Amazed it’s not just a software/driver thing that stops them working.

That’s awesome, glad you got it sorted

If you wouldn’t mind sharing the solution they provided, so that others might learn how to fix it themselves should they make the same mistake, that’d be swell :+1:

You can restore drivers one-by-one via the device manager, yes.
Though if you are looking to force install all the original drivers, you’ll need double driver.

Instructions:
((Make sure you have extracted the .7z contents to a folder location before starting))

Step 1 - Open Double Driver (as Admin)
Step 1

Step 2 - Select “Restore” from the top navigation bar
Step 2

Step 3 - Press “Locate Backup” in the bottom left and select “Other location”
Step 3

Step 4 - Navigate to the extracted .7z location - Select the main folder and hit okay
Step 4

Step 5 - Click okay
Step 5

Step 6 - From the top navigation bar; click the “Select” option and from the dropdown choose “All”
Step 7

Step 7 - All items should be selected (tick mark in box) - Proceed to click “Restore Now”
Step 8

Step 8 - Click “OK” to restore all drivers
Step 9

Restart and you’re done.

Thank you for sharing :D, hopefully the moderators are fine with you posting the fix (I can’t see why they’d be against it, in fact, I’d be surprised if they were - given how several people have mistakenly “updated” their H6 pen drivers).

Simply use Double Driver to “restore” your required driver or select all of them to return all drivers to the default stock versions

I have a bunch failing on me, specifically system drivers - I have Tablet "charging" but not holding the Charge this issue - any way to force these or should it try the failed drivers all manually?
