# Is there a way to factory reset the Android OS from Windows? (Hi10)

Hello!

I have a problem where I’ve received my Hi10 from my German cousin but sadly don’t understand the language. I’ve managed to reset the Windows version as well as changed language but I cannot get the android terminal up by pressing volume up/down and the power button.

My question is, how can I factory reset the password-protected Android OS without actually accessing the terminal?
