Left click on touchpad gets harder

I have had my Aerobook for a couple of months now and it has been a wonderful machine. However now the left-click of the touchpad gets more difficult to use. I have to put more pressure on it for a left click to register.

Is there something I can do?

I’m not sure how easy it is to disassemble this laptop, but you can try to disassemble it and spray WD-40 on button, this often helps to restore contact and remove oxidation that interferes with the normal operation of the button.
