# Minibook 4100 battery expend, replacement not ok

Hi,  
my battery has expend suddenly.  
I bought a new from aliexpress :

But the battery is not recognized and dosesn’t charge.  
It’s necesseray to upgrade the firmware or else ?

i bought this model as Chuwi support recommanded :

but not recognized, no charge  
My model bought in indiegogo in 2019

It’s incredible , Chuwi support said me i could buy a battery with this reference : NV-635170-2S but it does’nt work.

My laptop is a brick now, i can’t use it anymore.

I even found batteries for an old Asus that is 12 years old.

I supported Chuwi via Indiegogo when you were seeking funds to launch the laptop, but today I feel betrayed. All this is not very serious …

But 6 years passed. Our models are customized and most of the pieces come from China. In China factories and pieces change every few months, factories close very fast many times and finding components is quite hard. That is why many times we are not able to find the components of very old models.
