Hi! I just got a new Minibook X, and while it’s pretty fantastic overall, the left speaker does not work. Other than opening it up, I’ve tried everything driver-related and audio balance related to fix it. Sound Mixer shows that sound is attempting to come out of the left speaker, but nothing actually comes out. Could this be fixed without opening it up? If not, how can I check if the speaker is plugged in inside? Thanks!

If its less than 14 days since you bought it. Do not waste time and replace it for another one. Contact the shop you bought it from. As we dont know if its hardware.

Ok. I contacted Chuwi through Newegg and have been talking with them there! I think it’s a faulty speaker after opening it up and seeing that it was indeed plugged in.
