It’s possible you’re missing the drivers, which you download from the Chuwi website

This is unusual. If the keyboard does not work, how did you get into the BIOS? Since the BIOS interface loads and system boots to Windows, the BIOS is fine.

Try taking the bottom cover off and look for signs of liquid damage as liquid damage is the number one cause of keyboard failures. Might check alibaba for a replacement keyboard. If an external keyboard is plugged in, does it work?

That’s my thought.
So I have open the back cover, and move battery, main board. It looks like well. no liquid damage.
But i can’t see the keyboard, It’s blocked by an iron plate.
I have a friend who has N100 minibookX too.
But his bios is different, it’s very simple (at least her bios font size is small, options are less.)
I thought my brother update to wrong bios. I can’t know it , cause my bro in jail now …
So I think update the bios could fix the keyboard and touch screen.
Please check if my BIOS is normal.
I thought restoring the BIOS would make the keyboard works.
Please help me, that’s my only notebook, I need it to do my school work.
By the way, I use one usb keyboard/mouse now.

The BIOS has two modes:

basic mode

advanced mode

This might be the difference between N100 and N5100.

Nice tear down photo. I would say there’s no signs of liquid damage. Recommend to try to swap the keyboard as the keyboard may have simply gone bad.

Before trying a keyboard swap, have you tried reseting the BIOS to default settings?

You can change the time and date in the BIOS.

In the BIOS, I only use the Up, Down, Enter, Esc, and function keys.

in the BIOS you need to write to.
