Hello.
I have a Chuwi Hi10.
After a few days of not using it, I tried to power it on, but it didn't work. I thought the battery might be empty, so I tried to charge for a few hours. The charging LED didn't start, either, and even after a few hours - nothing, no charging light and no boot.
I searched online, and based on some suggestions, I tried to charge it slowly (from a computer) for a few days, and then more quickly (from the wall) for a  few more days - still nothing. I tried slowly again - nothing.
I tried Power button + Vol up, Power button + Vol down (both when connected to a power source and when not) - nothing.
I tried to completely drain the battery, by connecting a power bank to the USB port (so the tablet would charge the power bank, not the other way around) and then charge again - nothing.

The only thing that does happen is that when I connect something to the USB port, it does get power from the tablet (for example, I can charge my phone from the tablet). However, after a few seconds\minutes, the tablet shuts off, and does not continue to give power. (that happened before, too - when I tried to use the tablet to charge my phone, it would shut down after a few seconds, and wouldn't turn back on, until I'd plug it in to charge the tablet - even if just for a few seconds).

What else can I do to make my tablet work again?

Tal

Try this

Hold down the power button for 15 sec
Charge the tablet for 1-2 hours even though the light dosen't blink
disconnect the charger
push the power button 3 times in a row
push it a fourth time holding it down for 10-15 sec

You might have to repeat the last 2 things a couple of times
I do NOT work for Chuwi. Please DO NOT pm or email me with problems you may have!

Try this

God damn it; You posted while I was writing this

Btw; If the above mentioned method doesn't work; there is something wrong with it.
Edit: I have moved the thread to the correct subforum: Chuwi hi10

Hey. I tried it. A few times. With some variations. Didn't work.
Any other ideas?

your bios is corrupted.  you need to reflash the bios by using a cheap bios flasher. total cost for parts of bios flasher will be around $20 and total time will be around 1 hour. search for the bios flasher link on this forum.
