OK, now let's define exactly the hardware version. Please inform me about the serial number.
To do this, you need to find the serial number and model of your tablet on the back cover.

Hi again, Spontle,
First of all, you should download a few things.
1. chuwi_hi8_tools_drivers_docs.rar These are Manufacturing Flash Tool 6.0.51 and drivers.
2. Hi8 Android 2016.03.rar This is Android firmware.
3. partition_mod.rar (509 Bytes, Downloads: 12)

Unfortunately, I am getting the same problem as before as soon as I connect the tablet to the PC to begin to flash:

I've tried this on two computers, both with Windows 10 64 bit if that helps.

Thank you.

Hi,
What about the CUSTOM_CONFIG.INI file? Did you copy it to the MFT app folder?
You should find it in the same folder where the ManufacturingFlashTool_Setup_6.0.51.exe is. Just copy it, as written in the tutorial.

FANTASTIC!

I now have a fully working Android tablet.

I didn't initially think the Custom_Config.ini file was relevant because it was crashing, not just getting stuck. Anyways that worked perfectly and seems obvious now!

Thank you so much for your help and effort, I really appreciate it.

Until the time I change my mind and want Windows 10 instead

I am glad to know that your efforts have proved fruitful.
Of course, if you change your mind, you can always return your tablet to DualBoot, as well as make it a Windows 10 SingleBoot tablet.
