Hi,

I know hi13 storage is eMMC.
I can replace and build in newly eMMC.
But, I read prev threads that says "Nope. do not replace storage. I suggest to get sdcard."
Why can not I replace it?
Because only eMMC? Unsupported circuit or MCU?

Pls, let me know why I can not replace it.

Do you have all the soldering equipment and skills that is needed ?

eMMC is BGA soldered, that you need preheater and BGD soldering station and some kind of solderballs

And then i even haven't the sligest idea about if the bios will accept another eMMC than the one already inplanted
I do NOT work for Chuwi. Please DO NOT pm or email me with problems you may have!

SD cards are easy to be unstable and run slower than EMMC.
