Hi,
is it possible to upgrade RAM to 8GB? Are there any RAM slots in this laptop? Or RAM is soldered?

Thank you!

Hi,

this is not possible. Because motherboard has not any slot. Everything is embedded.
You should wait for the next version.

Any notice when can we expect 8GB version?

It is so hard to find information from Chuwi. Great price, great laptops but big lack of support and information.
Are there any manuals? Owner manual with technical specs?

I saw an information on Chuwi's Twitter reporting Ram's 8GB version, but I have not seen anything about it yet.
As for manuals, only those that accompany the product, in Chinese.

I read somewhere that the delay with the 8GB version is caused by W10 licensing problem (2x more expensive to get the licence for the 8GB machine). Wouldn't it be possible to release the 8GB version with Linux or without any system at all? It would be especially convenient for those who don't want Windows at all (so why pay for it in the first place). It's not a gaming laptop by any measure, or a graphical workstation - and for all the other everyday uses Linux is completely sufficient.

BTW in the previous laptop I bought, Lapbook Air, W10 broke completely on autoupdate, to the point of not being able to boot. So I replaced it with Ubuntu and it works well.
