HeroBox, J4125, Dual Channel Ram?

HWINFO is showing 4gb x2 but in single channel mode? Is that normal?

This model has no NVMe support, only M2 SATA is that correct?

The BIOS has an eMMC setting but this particular model does not have an eMMC module, correct?

Last question, what is the most recent bios update? Thankfully, Windows 11 loaded every driver according to device manager! Happy to see Bluetooth version 5.

Yes, the 8GB LPDDR4 on the board.

The LPDDR4 is designed for lower energy consumption and has native two -channel architecture, which means it consists of two 16 -bit channels that make up a total 32 -bit data bus.

No, NVME disks do not work because J4125 can’t do it, PCIe support …

Thanks a lot! I just got my HeroBox yesterday. I took a chance on a “for parts” ebay listing for $20. Glad to say it booted right up to the previous owner’s Windows 10 login screen. He didn’t bother to wipe it which is funny. I loaded Windows 11 on it with no issues. Every driver was accounted for. The LAN driver was the only driver that I had to load from Windows Optional Updates. Glad the WiFi was working immediately without issues for the W11 install.

Do you know if this is the latest Bios?

Bios: GB3B 1.02

10/29/2021

I have N5100 8/256GB V.BIOS JB3B 0.02 2022/02.
If there is something newer on OS or BIOS, it can be found at https://support.chuwi.com/ by entering a serial number from Case or BIOS.
