I am updating the Intel UHC graphics adapter with the latest Intel graphics driver whenever it is available. Is there any reason I should not be updating it or any of the Intel components with the latest drivers?

If everything works fine, dont need to touch it. The Batch you got from GEmiBook Plus its quite new because it was done last december. So unless there is a specific problem is not neccesary.
How are the Chuwi GemiBook Plus graphic drivers published in December different from the Intel Graphics drivers? Are there custom settings in the Chuwi drivers?

A more important question is do you hurry to install the lastest driver release? If so, don’t do it. The latest releases might have “bugs” so it’s safe to wait a few weeks months before installing.
As i said if everything works fine dont update.
